Semi-Abstract Paintings
My semi-abstract paintings grow from observation and imagination combined. They arise from a layering process which prioritises colour, mood and atmosphere over direct representation. They are made in the spirit of abstract expressionism - trust in my materials and my emotional and intuitive responses to what I have seen and known.
